Pusher man

It has been over 3 months and I ALWAYS forget to count this anecdote.

EVERY MORNING! while I go to school, I see a an old man with white hair and a weird posture, wearing the same jacket, be it 30° C in September or 12° in November (wonder if he will cover up when winter comes), with a band-aid on his cheek (Nelly style!). He just stands in the middle of the street and does NOTHING! He doesn’t seem to beg; never saw him address anybody or never had his hand out, but deep in his jeans pockets (which seem to be the same). No matter what time it is: 8h30 or 11h, he is ALWAYS standing there.

  1. Ali, rumor has it that this man used to teach at the University Of Toronto a few years back. I do not know what happened to him, but you are right – he is harmless. I see him every day as well. He walks around Spadina, Bloor, and Du Pont area the entire day.

  2. These rumors are funny.
There was th same kind of word on McGill campus about a drunk (probably racist) man collecting cans on campus. Rumors was that he was a Physics teacher gone bad…
