Let it snow!
As announced by the weather predictions, we are seeing “extreme winter conditions” in Ontario. Waking up this morning, all I could see was white! It didn’t stop snowing. In fact, it wasn’t even that cold (probably around 0°C), this makes me question the “extreme” in winter conditions. Moreover, these kinds of snowfalls are really common in Montreal. Which reminds me how bad and slow the snow is taken care of here (relative to Montreal where snow is cleaned overnight as soon as there is moderate snowfall) ; I mean can’t they have an organized shoving operation! This is Canada after all, some snow is expected… Anyways, they took it very seriously here, and after making it to school, noticing that the classroom was almost half empty, we surprisingly learned that they would close University at 11am… All it does is report classes to “Mondi”. Did you know that Monday is pronounced “mondi” in some accents?
